Kirkby Stephen Community Cinema
The Town Forum, Age Concern and Extended Services at the Grammar School introduce big screen cinema entertainment in the Grammar School Hall. There will be a monthly showing of a family film (tickets £4, family £13 from Age Concern, Rattan and Rush and Kirkby Stephen Books). Popcorn and ice cream. The 5 o'clock Club is a pre-film gathering for older residents with refreshments and transport if required - all free with cinema ticket at £4 - contact Age Concern Eden 01768 863618 for more information about the Club. Cook in Cumbria
Tempting cookery days at High Chapel House, a Grade II listed building in the lovely Westmorland village of Ravenstonedale. Explore the magic of delicious food from traditional Cumbrian recipes to exotic world cuisine and wicked desserts. Cookery classes take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and include demonstrations, hands-on activity and lunch.
