Stenkrith House is a lovely mid 19th century stone built 4 bedroom detached house, situated in its own walled gardens, with magnificent views. The house and grounds are adjacent to the caravan park on the edge of town, a short walk to the town centre.
There are a number of lovely walks starting from the Stenkrith area. The house overlooks one of the River Eden's wonderfull waterfalls and is adjacent to Stenkrith Park which has walks leading to town, and the nearby villages of Hartley, Winton and Nateby. Kirkby Stephen is a main stop off point for the Coast to Coast walk.
Currently two bedrooms are available for B&B one is a double, the other a twin, both rooms are en-suite, individually designed and colour coordinated. The house is non-smoking but the large garden is available for anyone who can't resist. We have secure private parking.
The Tariff is £30.00 pp pn, £40.00 for single occupancy, which includes a choice of breakfast, which you can eat either in the Art Deco dining room or in the courtyard.
There is a £5.00 per night, per room reduction for guests who book more than three nights, after the third night, for the duration of the stay.
