2003 - A Jacobean jaunt

 

The events to commemorate Kirkby Stephen’s second charter fair lasted three days. It was an action- packed weekend, from the opening grand banquet to the last echo of the fireworks finale. In the meantime hundreds of local people, artisans, artists, guests and performers had dedicated themselves to making sure the town put on a show to remember.
