Tuesday 5th June - `Microsoft Word for Intermediates' - Appleby Heritage Centre

FREE course over three weeks from 9.30 to 12.00.

Numbers are limited on free courses, book early to secure your place.  You are only eligible for a maximum of four free courses per person.


Wednesday 6th June - Repair Cafe - Kirkby Stephen Local Links

From 2 - 4pm.  Kirkby Stephen Repair Cafe helps to reduce waste sent to landfill, saving money and resources by using expert volunteers to fix everyday household items.

We have a friendly team of DIY and sewing experts ready to take on your repairs.  Bring along any clean clothes, electricals, jewellery, toys, small items of furniture etc...that are in need of attention and we will do what we can to help!

Thursdays 7th & 21st June
 - Upper Eden Memory Club - The Friends Meeting House, High Street, Kirkby Stephen

10.30am to 12 noon.

We continue to meet alternate Thursdays at the Friends Meeting House (opposite the Spar Shop), where we enjoy fellowship over tea and coffee followed by guided activities and usually end with singing some favourite songs of old.

Thursdays 14th & 28th June - Upper Eden Memory Club - Longway, New Road, Brough

10.30am to 12 noon

Following the success of the Upper Eden Memory Club at Kirkby Stephen we have decided to start a second group in Brough to enable us to continue to accept Clients and Carers into our Kirkby Stephen family. We enjoy fellowship over tea and coffee followed by guided activities and usually end with singing some favourite songs of old.

Friday 15th June  - Kirkby Stephen Community Arts presents `Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool' (15) - Kirkby Stephen Sports and Social Club

A romance sparks between a young actor and a Hollywood Leading Lady.

Tuesday 19th June - Eden Hearing Services Drop In Session - Kirkby Stephen Local Links

Eden Hearing Services hold a drop in clinic from 10.00am to 12 noon 3rd Tuesday of every month.  Services include advice on hearing aids and specialist equipment, hearing aids cleaned and retubed, batteries supplied.
