1 March - Cumbria Wildlife Trust Talk

The Ancient Woodlands of Cumbria.

Mike Winn, now retired from lecturing at Newton Rigg, will talk about our ancient woodlands from their early beginning to the present day.  Dealing with the historical aspects in addition to the bortany and conservation this talk could well have been used as a joint talk with the History Society who are cordially invited to join us. 

All talks take place at 19.30 in the Kirkby Stephen Grammar School coffee bar.  All welcome.  Entry fee £2.50, children free, all are welcome.
