Hartley Castle is a spacious luxury new barn conversion, built on the ruins of a medieval castle with magnificent views towards Wild Boar Fell and overlooking Kirkby Stephen and the Eden Valley with the Lake District hills on the horizon.  Only a ten minute walk throught the charming unspoilt village of Hartley to Kirkby Stephen, with its antique shops, restaurants, tea rooms and local inns.

All modern facilities with secluded rear garden and secure private garage.  Since the property is on a working sheep farm, pets are not allowed but children of all ages are welcome.  It is open all year from £200 inclusive of electric, heating, bedlinen and towels.  Able to sleep 6 - 8 + cot.
An ideal base for touring the Upper Eden Valley, Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, with free fishing on the River Eden, excellent walking right from the door, as well as riding, swimming and golf available within the immediate area.
