Sandbed is a delightful two bedroom cottage situated in a superb rural location at the foot of Harter Fell, part of the spectacular Howgills.
To the front of the cottage there is a breathtaking view of Wild Boar Fell with the Fellend 'clouds' in the foreground, where you can explore the clints and grikes while looking for fossils of long forgotten creatures in the limestone paving. 

Your only companions on these tranquil fells are the native free roaming fell ponies, hefted sheep, pheasants and the distant call of curlews and buzzards.

Sandbed Cottage has an orchard to the side where you can sit on the picnic bench, encircled by stunning views, and watch for the wild deer that come daily into the little wood opposite the house.  If you are lucky you may even catch a glimpse of our elusive red squirrel making its way to our feeders, as the Eden Valley is one of its last strongholds.
