Stable Cottage is a recently converted Mid 19th century barn in an ideal location for walking, cycling, riding or just relaxing. We are a family run working hill farm set in peaceful countryside next to the Howgill Fells. From the farm you can walk out onto open fells, and the Pennines, Lakes and Yorkshire Dales are all within easy reach. Situated just 5 miles from Junction 38 of the M6 Motorway, we have easy access to the many attractions this area has to offer. Within 2 miles of Stable Cottage you will find fishing, golf, tennis, 2 public houses with excellent menus, churches and open access to the miles of fells surrounding us.
Furnished to a high 4* standard, Stable Cottage has 2 bedrooms (which sleep 5 people + cot) bathroom with w.c. bath, shaving point and shower over the bath.
