Gillian and Martin Wainhouse ensure a warm and friendly welcome and a memorable stay for all their guests at Stouphill Gate. In a glorious setting with spectacular views situated in open countryside near the charming conservation village of Ravenstonedale, described by the noted A Wainwright as one of Westmorland’s loveliest villages, the traditional Cumbrian farmhouse offers easy access to the Howgill Fells and the National Parks of the Lakes & Dales, and is only a few miles away from the market town of Kirkby Stephen.
The two B&B rooms provide the perfect getaway to relax and unwind and share a quiet residents’ lounge. The guests start the day with a hearty Aga-cooked breakfast and packed lunches can be supplied. Both rooms have comfortable beds, ensuite showers, TV, radio-alarm and tea/coffee facilities. The ground floor room is suitable for families or guests with mobility difficulties (it is fully wheelchair accessible). The first floor room is accessed by an external staircase and enjoys great views from its lofty position.
Ample off road parking is available and secure storage is also available for cycles etc as required. Also externally there is a laundry room with drying facilities. See website for further details.
