In Kirkby Stephen Girlguiding is for girls of 5 – 7 years – Rainbows, 7 – 10 years – Brownies, 10 – 14 years Guides.  Its primary aim is development of the girl through fun activities.

Kirkby Stephen Community Arts – Telling Tales at Kirkby Stephen Sports and Social Club
Mondays at 10.00am during term-time. Preschool story time and crafts session for under 5’s and their parents or carers. Run by Kirkby Stephen Community Arts and supported by Cumbria County Council. £1 per family, includes drink and snack plus teas and coffees for parents and carers. Little Squirrels is held in the school hall at Warcop CofE Primary School. Parents with babies, toddlers and pre-school children meet every Wednesday morning, during term time at 10.30am – 12noon.

Scallywags Toddler Group
Local, Parent run Toddler group for children aged 0-4 years. Craft activities and lots of toys. Drinks and snacks provided for children. Tea and Coffee for Parents.

Warcop Children’s Club
Warcop CofE Primary School has wrap around care every school day at Warcop Children’s Club for children aged between 2 and 14 years of age.  Breakfast club runs from 8.00am every moring and a free nutritional breakfast is available to all who attend at no extra cost.  After school club runs until 5.30pm on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 5.00pm on a Tuesday and Thursday.
