Kirkby Stephen Community Arts – Telling Tales at Kirkby Stephen Sports and Social Club
Mondays at 10.00am during term-time. Preschool story time and crafts session for under 5’s and their parents or carers. Run by Kirkby Stephen Community Arts and supported by Cumbria County Council. £1.50 per family, includes drink and snack plus teas and coffees for parents and carers. Kirkby Stephen Silver Brass Band – Beginners
Meets fortnightly at Kirkby Stephen Band Room, Riverside on Fridays from 6.30 to 8.00 pm.  £3.50 per week. Open to all young people from the age of 8. Top quality instruments provided. Kirkby Stephen Youth Group
New in 2022.  The sessions are on Thursdays from 3.30pm to 5.00pm at the Quaker Meeting House Kirkby Stephen, and are initially aimed at Year 6 children. Toys and games are available, and permission has been received from Kirkby Stephen Primary School to use the school field next door, for outdoor activities in the summer months.   Toast, crumpets and biscuits with a selection of drinks are available. The cost is £1 per child. We aim to be fully inclusive and offer a wide range of activities to suit all needs and abilities. There will be times that we will offer trips and some fundraising will be required for these. The sessions will involve some community and faith based work, social action and team challenges, hopefully having a lot of fun along the way. Warcop Children’s Club
Warcop CofE Primary School has wrap around care every school day at Warcop Children’s Club for children aged between 3 and 11 years of age.  Breakfast club runs from 8.00am every morning and a free nutritional breakfast is available to all who attend at no extra cost.  After school club runs until 5.00pm or 5.30pm with one week’s notice.
