The Farm is situated about 0.75 miles from the picturesque village of Ravenstonedale, with instant access to the Howgill Fellsand offers extensive views across the Eden Valley, Green Bell and Wild Boar Fell.  High Greenside is a working sheep farm.

The Kings Arms Hotel - Temple Sowerby

The Kings Arms Hotel in Temple Sowerby has a four hundred year history as a coaching inn, providing hospitality both to travellers on the old turnpike road and to early tourists - William Wordsworth and Samuel Coleridge chose the Kings Arms as a starting point for their exploration of the Lake District in 1799.  In those days Temple Sowerby was known as "The Queen of Westmorland Villages".
