Kirkby Stephen & Upper Eden Community News, shares news, information, service updates, events and more with the community of Kirkby Stephen and Upper Eden.

The content of the newsletter provides an overview of news, activities and services delivered by the team at Kirkby Stephen Community and Council Centre and Library. It also includes new from Kirkby Stephen Town Council plus details and information relating to public services available across our region. Each edition also include a “what`s on” guide for the coming season, a listing of sports and social groups and clubs and a directory of local businesses.

We distribute the newsletter to over 1100 homes in Kirkby Stephen and arrange a “collection point” drop across the Parishes of Upper Eden, which includes the following parishes: Brough Sowerby, Brough, Crosby Garrett, Hartley, Helbeck, Kaber, Mallerstang, Nateby, Ravenstonedale, Soulby, Stainmore, Waitby, Warcop, Wharton and Winton. The collection points are generally central locations in the villages such as paper boxes, notice boards, village hall and church porches and local shops. The Parish Clerk for each Parish receive copies of the newsletter, as each edition is distributed, with details of the collection points and number of copies available. Additional copies of the newsletter are also available to pick up at local shops, garages and other locations around Kirkby Stephen.
