Monday 13th to Sunday 19th May – Random Act of Kindness Week – RAK Treasure Hunt across Eden

During this week, Share a Smile will be celebrating kindness by having a RAK treasure hunt across Eden.  Local businesses and individuals have kindly donated small gestures of kindness and we are inviting everyone to look out for our golden tickets to receive or share a RAK.  We have coffee and cake, cinema tickets, books, ice cream, hair cuts, pieces of fruit, fish and chips and more all dontated through random acts of kindness!

Who are we?  We are a group of sixth form students based in Eden, working alongside Carlisle Eden Mind, who aim to increase young people and the wider community’s understanding of positive mental health and the impact everyone can have on this by sharing kindness with each other.  Share a Smile’s primary goal is simple; we hope to raise awareness of how a simple act of kindness can improve the emotional well-being of ourselves and those around us.
