Saturday 5th September – Kirkby Stephen Craft and Food Producers Market – Masonic Hall and Silver Street Gardens
9 am to 1 pm. A variety of local produce stalls including food, jams, plants and crafts. Come along and support your local businesses.
Thursday 10th September – Kirkby Stephen Memory Club – Methodist Hall, Kirkby Stephen
10.30 am to 12 pm. Everyone welcome, particularly those experiencing memory problems. Help and support for carers. Music, crafts, games and entertainment. Friday 11th September – Kirkby Stephen Hearing Services – Kirkby Stephen Local Links
10 am to 12 noon. Kirkby Stephen Hearing Services run their clinics for anyone needing repairs or servicing to their hearing aids, here at the Local Links on the 2nd Friday of each month. This service is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY – please ring 07724132277.
Hearing aid batteries can be provided here at Local Links, free of charge, if you are registered at a doctors in Eden. Our opening hours are Mondays and Wednesdays, 10am to 12 noon, and 1 pm to 3 pm. Please bring details of the battery size you require.
Saturday 12th September – Eden Animal Rescue Stall – The Cloisters, Kirkby Stephen
9 am to 1.30 pm. Gill and Barbara invite you to their stall in aid of Eden Animal Rescue. Seasonal jams and chutneys with our usual sweet picallili and tangy marmalade. Baking products includes shortbread and ginger biscuits, Victoria sandwich, Fruit loaves, Bakewell tarts, quiches, sponge puddings and scones. Produce made by us, just for you. Looking forward to seeing all our loyal customers – thank you all for your continued support.

Monday 14th September – Upper Eden Silver Circle presents `MUGS (The Morland Ukelele Group’ – Soulby Village Hall
1.30 pm. An afternoon of music, singing and good company. Admission £5 including refreshments. All welcome.
9 am to 12 noon. With extra stallholders for 2026 and a special stall holder guest appearance every month, we cannot wait to support local people and local businesses. All we need now is you!

Monday 21st September – Tech Help Drop in Session – Ravenstonedale Community and Heritage Centre
10.30 to 12.30 Friendly and informal tech support – just drop in. Held the 3rd Monday of every month. We can help with setting up and using mobile phones, tablets and laptops, how to do everyday tasks on your devices, advice and troubleshooting for common problems. We can also help with fault diagnosis but no repairs.
